Organic residue producers

Production of organic wastes from digester sludge, manures, washdown ponds, compost, agricultural / animal wastes or clean by-products that generate additional disposal costs, can be converted into a significant source of cash flow by converting these materials into high value fertiliser.

Each raw organic waste is different in its chemical and physical makeup, but JWinnovo can design the optimum blending formula and customised equipment for maximising both nutrient content and monetary value of our desiccated fertiliser pellet product.

Farmers and
Farming Associations

Farms by their very nature produce large amounts of organic waste and could in most cases produce more. If farm production of organics is substantial a licence to produce fertiliser pellets for self consumption or sale could provide significant additional cash flow and or reduce fertiliser costs, while considerably enhancing soil health.

JWinnovo provides completely self contained mobile equipment with chemical supply and technical support, that can be shared between farms so the equipment can be used year round and produce fertiliser that can be stockpiled at the farm in bulk or bagged for shipping.

The equipment with some adjustment to equipment and binder formulation, can also be utilised for production of self desiccating biomass fuel pellets (~10% moisture & 18 GJ/t), which JWinnovo technology also supports if farms require a farm waste to energy system.

Additionally, JWinnovo is the authorised dealer for Australasia for the full range of Spapperi agricultural equipment, which includes a wide scope of modified machines that can inject JWInnovo pellets from 80mm to 300mm from surface, with pellet diameters from 8mm to 120mm.

The Spapperi integrated seeding and mulching system that uses bio-degradable bio-plastic film can reduce water consumption by up to 80% and enhance crop production in poor soil or drought affected areas by 25-100% or more.

Equipment
contractors

JWinnovo provides equipment ideal for contracting operations in relation to the production and use of our advanced fertiliser products. JWI manufactures a complete range of equipment for lease/sale to contractors as a licence holder JWinnovo would provide support of turnkey pelletising operations from 5 tph to 40 tph per line with chemical supply, QA/QC and operator training etc.

Pelletising plants can be supplied as modular or for semi-permanent installation (2 days set-up) or trailer mounted (2 hour set up) for campaign treatment of stockpiled feedstock at multiple locations

Fertiliser manufacturers
and distributors

JWinnovo technology can be adapted to a number of slow release fertiliser formulations, both completely organic and customised organic and industrial fertiliser blends, to create high value, high impact products that eliminate many economic and environmental issues associated with high solubility nutrient chemicals due to the sorber content and absorbent organic matrix. The variations for this type of product are endless and can be readily tailored to suit, soil, crop, farming system and climate constraints.

Turnkey operational plants can be installed in 1-3 days depending on scale with capacities of 1 tph to 40 tph per line that encompasses feedstock shredding (if necessary), homogenising, pelletising, polishing and desiccation. The production line is completely integrated with plant PLC controls, which can be merged with other operational systems controls to allow seamless operation of the custom fertiliser production system.

Mine and contaminated
land restoration

Mine operators, reclamation contractors and government agencies tasked with restoration of disturbed or contaminated sites, tailings dams, mine waste dumps or sand dunes, can obtain licenses to produce highly specialised disturbed land reclamation pellets.

JWinnovo has developed a number of solutions to assist in the reclamation of disturbed lands either as a boost to local topsoil nutrient capacity or in circumstances where topsoil is not available. We have many years in reclamation engineering and can assist clients in selection of compounds utilised in our “reclamation pellet” range to combat, heavy metal release, hydrocarbon and organic contamination or soluble radioactive salts in soils and mine tailings and dumps, with technical back up in our own testing laboratories or study at University level.

JWinnovo pellets can be utilised as “Sole source” of nutrients for re-planting in completely barren wastes such as mine tailings or sand dunes, where our pellets would include life cycle nutrients for the plant or seedling used in restoration, adsorbing agents (sorbers), soil bacteria (and nitrogen fixing bacteria) & fungi and significant levels of organic carbon, calcium and silica to aid plant growth and development of root networks.

Our pellets can be injected mechanically, manually or pumped as part of a final tailing layer, or densely sprayed with seeds onto unstable sand dunes, steep waste dumps or soft saturated tailings where vehicle or personnel access is dangerous.

Desert, drylands
and “salted lands” planting

JWinnovo injected pellets in combination with the Spapperi integrated mulching and plastic liner system are ideal for both boosting crop production in depleted soils and arresting desertification with intensive planting.

The pellets for soil enhancement in sandy soil or desert sands can be designed so that pellets are designed to be “Sole source” of life cycle nutrients, adsorbing agents(sorbers), soil bacteria, fungi and significant levels of organic carbon, calcium and silica to aid plant growth and development of root networks, where none have existed previously.

In conjunction with the Spapperi pellet seed injection system we recommend the Spapperi plastic liner / mulching system laid simultaneously with seed and fertiliser injection. This deployment allows very successful cropping over large areas with 20 - 30% of usual rainfall requirements or irrigation rates, and effectively holds sandy soil in place for the duration of the crop cycle.

The plastic liner system also combats soil salt enrichment by rinsing the upper layers of soil with condensation from the liner, allowing salt tolerant plants a chance to get established using only salty soil water.
